[REDACTED] Entertainment is a Chicago based production company founded by myself and three other women in 2020. When we were fully functioning, our mission was to be a one-stop shop that could take a concept from development to distribution, while being committed to drawing attention to underrepresented stories through media production, powered by sustainability and ethical financing.

As the world began to start moving again, we quickly realized that the four of us are all growing rapidly and in various directions. Because of this, it may not be sustainable for us to jointly run the company long term. For a moment, we had the chance to grow our friendships and professional relationships all at once and it was a fantastic, fast-paced year.

We still remain close friends, co-workers in various capacities, and supporters of one another. In just one year of running, we got ourselves off the ground, forming a smoothly functioning management team that took inquiries, hosted a marketing internship for DePaul University, developed concepts, produced a middle-tier independent feature film, and turned a significant profit within 2 months of forming. [REDACTED] is now being taken over by one of our members, Liv Krusinski.
