Who I Am

I’m Gianna Capra, a producer, writer, and director living in Seattle, Washington. I moved here in January of 2023 after living and working in the Chicago Independent film world for 7 years.

I’ve had the chance to work and learn a great deal about the creative and technical aspects of storytelling over the years with experience as a director, producer, executive producer, assistant director, and more. I also write for film and other mediums.

I am currently busy working as an in house producer with Kernel Productions, as we are in production on the pilot episode of an animated feature, War For Christmas. We’re also gearing up to go into principal photography this summer with a horror feature. I also do a number of travel jobs and have an independent feature of my own in development.
